TUGAS PENGERTIAN ILMU SOSIAL DASAR (ISD)

Definition

            ISD is the knowledge of who examines social issues, particularly the problems manifested by the people of Indonesia who, using the theories, facts, concepts derived from different fields of knowledge of expertise in the field of social sciences (such as Social Geography, Sociology, Anthropology social, Political Science, Economics, Social Psychology and History)

Basic social science is not a combination of basic social science combined, because the basic social science does not have an object and the scientific method itself and also he did not develop a penilitian as a scientific discipline such as social sciences above

            ISD provides an understanding of human nature as social beings and the problem with using the framework approach. By using an objective lens means, concepts and theories related to human nature and the problem has been developed and used in the social sciences. Meanwhile, according to the subjective lens of the problems discussed will be assessed according to the perspective of the community concerned.

           ISD is a business that can be expected to provide general knowledge and basic knowledge of who the concepts developed to complement the social phenomena that responsiveness (response value), perception and reasoning of students in the face of the social environment can be improved, so that the sensitivity of students in the social environment becomes larger.

Scope of Study ISD

          ISD includes two main groups: human studies and studies of society and social institutions. The first consisted of psychology, sociology, and anthropology, while the second consists of economic and political.

STUDY target aspects of ISD is the most principled who exists in human life as social beings who manifest problems of  it.

Objectives ISD

            ISD fosters student insight into the reasoning and personality in order to gain greater insight and personality traits that are expected of student attitudes, particularly with regard to attitudes and behavior within the human face of other human beings, as well as the attitudes and behavior toward other human beings man in question is reciprocal.

          

Basic social science (ISD) and the social sciences have similarities and differences as for the similarities between the two is:
- Both are the subject of study for the benefit of education programs / teaching
- They are not stand-alone discipline
- Both have a material consisting of social reality and social problems.

The difference between them is is:

Provided basic social science at university, while the social sciences is given in primary and secondary schools.
Basic social science directed at the formation of attitudes and personality, whereas social science directed at the creation of knowledge and intellectual skills.

Social problems which arise within society are usually involved in various social realities berkaitan.Konsorsium between the field has determined that the social science foundation course consists of 8 subjects, namely:
- A variety of population issues in development of society and culture hubungannyadengan
- Problem Individuals, families, and communities
- Youth problems and socialization
- Problem of the relationship between citizens and the State
- Problems of social and equality coating
- Problems of urban and rural society
- The problem of social contradictions and intgrasi
- Utilization of science and technology for prosperity and welfare of the community
